Tzu-Sung Yen has been producing works for more than 12 years. Inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson his early works were photographed by black-and-white negative in snapshot. The images were involved in imagination with a series of black humor accompanied. Sometimes, the images seem implicit. Nevertheless, the artist applies those to the contemporary phenomenon.
In addition to documentary photography, the artist has devoted himself to abstraction and minimalism recently. Not only does he illuminate his own life experiences but also interprets the particular ones by series works. In the recent years, he lays emphasis on the interpretation and deliberation about the memories along with the space.
